Just wow.
This is a very beautifully crafted temple complex. The more you explore it the more it makes you wonder 'HOW'.
I can't believe that even with modern advances something as beautiful as this can be created.

Rana Kumbha built Yagya Mandir to perform Yagna in 1457.
This Vedi temple complex consists of Yagna Vedi, square Chatri & a triple shrine.
It is believed that when Rana Kumbha was
fortifying, the walls of the fort kept collapsing.
A strong structure could be built only after a human sacrifice was performed as advised by a sage.
And a Vedi temple (sacrificial) was built here after the sacrifice.
The west facing Vedi temple has 36 octagonal pillars supporting a domed roof.
