An architectural marvel. Beautiful monument. It was ahead of it's time then and now too. Since it is a private property and the king do stay in the Palace, so a very small part of it is open to the public. If you wanna see the rest, then you better be ready to spend in L and C????. A lucky draw of two winners every day would go a long way in making the Palace more interesting to visit. But then the exclusivity of it is what is making the Palace stay on top of the charts in its category. Visit and clicked pictures ticked. I'm happy I did make that 2 hrs trip.

Very good collection of items belonging to the Jodhpur royal family. They have swords, Armor, furniture, wine glasses, polo equipment, etc. There are also some nice pictures and portraits.
There are also detailed stories of two activities the royals were passionate about - polo and aviation.
A separate building houses some of their vintage cars as well.
The drive to the palace is very good; you can see the town spread out below as you climb the hill to get to the entrance.

Tourists/ visitors can enter this museum by entrance ticket during the visiting hours, which otherwise is a five star hotel which is open only for the room guests of the hotel. The museum is in a part of this palace with a large collections of royal items nicely displayed in glass cases. One should visit this museum to also have nice glimpse of the beautiful palace from the outside which is otherwise not open for local public and tourists
