f you want to visit the Golden Temple, and you surely do or why would you be in Amritsar, this is the place to stay. The hotel is decent; good sized rooms and the staff couldn't be nicer. The food was good too, especially the soups. I usually stay in higher end hotels, but this one was pretty good. There was NO view from the rooms, but there is a courtyard on the 3rd floor and you can walk up to the roof for a view. This hotel also has an elevator! the only negative was that it was noisy in the afternoon and early evening. Some construction and noisy neighbors in a building across the all
