Sheesh Palace is Heaven for Photography Lovers For sure.
This Palace is inside Mehrangarh Fort and Built By Maharaja Ajit Singh Ji.

Among all the rooms that individually merit the name of 'Mahal', I personally found this ti be the most beautiful of the five rooms.
Translating to mean 'Glass Palace', its walls are covered from ceiling to floor with finely intricate glass work.
This glass work is interspersed with plaster figures of gods and goddesses in brightly coloured panels. It was reportedly the bed chamber of Maharaja Ajit Singh, who ruled fir almost half a century from 1679 to 1724.
The chandelier is Europian in origin and is reportedly a recent acquisition.

It's important if you read a little bit of history before coming here.what were those mirrors made of, what was the rear coating, how was the binding done, how was boundary done, how was pigment added... These questions will never be answered by any of those guides. You do get a small display of how pigments were made but again no more enquiry about their whereabouts will be entertained by the guides.
