This is the official website of Jodhpur Development Authority, Jodhpur a body constituted under Jodhpur Development Authority Act, 2009 ( Act No. 2 of 2009 ) under the Department of Urban Development and Housing, Government of Rajasthan.

Jodhpur Development Authority was established for the purposes of planning, co-ordinating and supervising the proper, orderly and rapid development of the Jodhpur Region and of executing plans, projects and schemes for such development and to provide for matters connected there with.

Jodhpur, the second largest city in Rajasthan is popularly known as the Blue City. The name is clearly befitting as most of the architecture – forts, palaces, temples, havelis and even houses are built in vivid shades of blue.

The copper sulphate under certain conditions turns blue, giving the houses their famous uniform blue colour. One can get a bird's eye view of Jodhpur and its iconic blue houses in the old town.

Jodhpur's early history is indelibly linked to the Rathore clan: the origins can be traced to the clan's leader, Rao Jodha, who is credited with the founding of Jodhpur in 1459. Driven from their homeland by Afghans, the Rathores fled from Kaunaj to Pali, which is the site of present day Jodhpur.

I dont think that the office of any development authority is meant to be this messy and unhygienic. Disappointing.

They don't want to do your work i have some work and from last 28days they consistently saying sir pls come tomorrow we definitely do it but every day they have same reply
