The place is outstanding and very well decorated as per the local taste. If you are planning a cultural and heritage trip to Jodhpur, this place is highly recommended to stay in. This budget hotel offered us a cozy room to live and nice ambience to click good photos. The roof top of the hotel has a scenic view of Mehrangarh fort. Washroom was spacious, clean and full of facilities. Staff is supportive. Although, food is available in this home stay but you may be refused for the order if you ask for lunch and dinner in odd hours but you are free to order food online or to bring outside food in the property.

This review is for Purn haveli and not Jewel Palace as we couldn't reach there. If you are traveling by your own vehicle, you have to be very careful if you are visiting Mehrangarh fort and planning to stay as most havelis are located in narrow alleys. We almost blocked an alley and had to reverse, which we managed somehow. Talk to your host before you reach there. Do not trust Maps here. Haveli was nice, owned by families of raajvaidhs from the time of kings of Mehrangarh. Owner told us that Manoj Bajpai stayed in the room where we stayed. We even had fort view from washroom. There was an extra bed. It was cheaper on websites but he charged Rs 4000 for one night with no breakfast but since it was a last-minute check-in, we didn't haggle much. Beddings were clean. They have parking facility also available, so overall nice experience.

Right in the heart of the old city and a great view of the fort. Rooms are nice and affordable, but the star of the show is Gudu, the manager. He was so nice and even helped us plan out the rest of our trip in Jaisalmer. He has lots of connections in Jodhpur and is all around an honest and great guy! The room has strong Wi-Fi and good ac and overall is a nice laid back hotel.
