small museum with an ethnological collection of objects of everyday life of the people who live in the Thar desert. its a private museum founded by a man whose passion is it to conserve the local culture. he will enthusiastically explain the collection to you if he is around. sadly the collection has suffered from a fire some time ago and now the owner needs every support he can get for restoring the museum at this new location. visit is highly recommended.

It was honour for us to visit there. Its great representation of Rajasthani culture. It's way better than the government museums which have mostly armour stuff. Special thanks to the staff member who explained about everything precisely and his behaviour was so polite. I personally recommend everyone whosoever visit Jaisalmer must visit this place and enjoy the beauty of old heritage.

We discovered and learned a lot at the Thar Heritage Museum with its collection. You can see and feel the love and effort that was put into it. Definitely worth a visit. Big thanks to the owner who took the time to come and show and us everything!
