One of the ponds inside Chittorgarh Fort. I guess it is juxtaposed(not exactly)to Surya Temple, hence named Surajkund bawadi. This could have as water reserve during the scrorching summers for the henchmen lived in Fort arena. This region used to face many droughts and water reserve from torrential rains acted as oasis. You will feel the importance of water here. We are privileged to have abundant water for our daily needs.

Suraj kund Bawadi is located Kalika Mata Mandir Road Chittorgarh Fort complex Chittorgarh Rajasthan India. Bawadi is very oldest beautiful and attractive. Must visit.
