One of the most crowded Religious Shrine In India. People from every community come here for “Mannat”. I usually visit twice a year and it feels so good. There are two “DEG” in dargah in which Langar is made. Properly maintained. Too much rush on weekends. Most of the People come here on every 6th of Islamic Month.

Once in a lifetime you have to visit there, It is magical and what a calm environment. You will find people from all religions there visiting the shrine praying for their good health and prosperity.

Few tips:

Choose the most affordable and nearest hotel from the shrine.

Do check out the small-small restaurants for good and affordable food in order to save some bucks.

Most Popular Dargah in Ajmer, India
1. You will feel a different level of peace here.
2. Wonderful place to come with family, friends or even solo , if you are seeking peace.
3. Temperature is hot here so better keep yourself hydrated, carry sunscreen etc
4. As it's a Dargah make sure your attire is appropriate (cover yourself properly).
5. Be alert : take care of your wallet, purse and phones
6. There isn't any washroom inside or near dargah so better take care of it.
7. The place is always crowded so if you don't like crowd much, visit the place in off season and visit it early morning.
8. If you like Qawali, your heart will enjoy every bit of it while it's constantly going on everyday.
9. In the Evening, exactly before Magrib there is Roshni time
10. There are alot Holy books, Janamaz, Tasib available there so no need to carry one.
11. Clean Drinking water is also available inside.
12. Make sure to keep your footwear outside to someone who take care of it , you might find them.
13. Be Cautious, don't get fooled or manipulated. The place is safe, everyone is good but still.
14. Tip: Just enjoy your presence there, don't think much, be present and live those beautiful moments. (I think just doing nothing but sitting also works, the place has healing powers and super positive environment if you can see/feel)
15. Apart from handbag, other stuffs are not allowed inside the dargah so better keep your stuff in the hotel itself.
16. Make sure to bring cash, because I found very less cashless payment system here.
17. Do wazu in the hoj (initially I was confused but once you try it's good)
18. Keep flowers and chadar on head while on the way shrine is a form of respect so try it and you might love it.
19. Make lots of Prayer, make the most out of the journey.
20. If possible stay for 3 days, it is good be in that super positive vibes.
21. Do try Sohan Halwa, its popular sweet there and buy Desi ghee Sohan Halwa.
