I am very fortunated that I got chance to visit this holy Gurudwara Sahib Sri Mukatsar sahib. It's first name was khidrane di dhaab . 40 Sikhs who wrote bedawa letter in anandpur sahib and went back to their homes then mai bhaago insulted them badly when Sikhs felt ashamed of their deed then they started searching for Guru Gobind Singh Ji after reaching this place Mughals were also looking for Guru sahib these 40 Sikhs fought with the Mughal army very forcibly and got martyred after that Guru sahib reached there and cleaned the faces of the died Sikhs Bhai Maha singh was still breathing Guru sahib put his head on his own thigh and asked him that I am very happy on you ask what you want then maha singh replied Guru Gobind Singh Ji if u want to give me something then please tear that bedawa letter and forgive us

One of the most important Gurudwaras in Punjab after the Golden Temple. Adjacent is a very big pond. Very religious place with peaceful environment. Was a little surprised to see Bhindrawale's picture too on one side of the pond. Nevertheless a beautiful place and a must visit if you travel this side. The entry areas from some sides may get congested depending on the time of your visit so try an early morning or late evening visit.
