Urban Cafe is the best among the other 5 star properties in Chandigarh. I have been visiting here for various occasions or just to spend some quality time with my family since 3 years now and not once they have disappointed us????????
I love their dimsums and the lavish brunch buffet on Sundays. Also if you happen to visit here then do leave room for desserts in your stomach cause they are the best ????????????????????

I recently dined at Urban Cafe at Hayat Regency Chandigarh to celebrate my birthday on May 23rd, and I must say that the entire experience was nothing short of a disappointment. From the moment I made reservations until the billing process, the service provided by the staff was utterly unsatisfactory.

Firstly, I had to go through 15 different front desk agents just to inquire about my reservation. This lack of coordination and communication was truly frustrating. Furthermore, upon arrival, there was no host present to greet us, leaving us feeling unwelcome and ignored.

The troubles did not end there. For the first half of the meal, our table was completely neglected. There was no server assigned to look after us, and as a result, our special request regarding my birthday note on the reservation went unnoticed. It was disheartening to be left out and have no one taking care of our needs. Even something as basic as watering the table was neglected, as they simply left a water bottle without providing any attention or service throughout the meal.

Moreover, the buffet food was consistently cold, which severely impacted our dining experience. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the server, no action was taken to replace the appetizers or replenish the empty buffet dishes. This lack of attentiveness and disregard for our satisfaction was deeply disappointing.

To make matters worse, the billing process was unnecessarily time-consuming, and the managers seemed utterly confused and unprepared. Even after providing them with all the necessary details of our coupons, they struggled to handle the situation efficiently. This level of incompetence and disorganization is simply unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber.

Regrettably, the poor service at Urban Cafe not only affected our experience on the day but also had severe consequences afterward. Unfortunately, a few of our guests fell ill with food poisoning the very next day, likely due to the spoiled food that was served. This is an alarming indication of the restaurant's lack of hygiene and proper food handling practices.

I must emphasize that Urban Cafe at Hayat Regency Chandigarh has been the worst dining experience I have encountered, not only at this particular Hayat location but in the city as a whole. The quality of both the food and service fell far below expectations, leaving me thoroughly disappointed.

However, I would like to give credit where it is due. The valet service at Hayat Regency Chandigarh was exceptional. The staff was welcoming, and their services made us feel at home. From handing over our car to receiving it back, everything was convenient and smooth. I would like to extend my thanks and regards to the valet team for their professionalism amidst an otherwise disappointing experience.

I sincerely hope that Urban Cafe management takes this review seriously and addresses the numerous issues that have been raised. It is crucial for them to improve their food quality, service standards, and overall customer experience.

I recently dined at Urban Cafe, Hayat Regency Chandigarh, to celebrate my son's birthday with my family. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of a complete letdown. From the moment we made the reservations until the billing process, every aspect of our visit was marred by poor service and subpar quality.

Firstly, upon arriving, we were informed that our reservation, which clearly mentioned the occasion as a birthday celebration, was not properly communicated to the staff. Consequently, we were left unattended for the first half of our meal, with no server assigned to our table. This lack of attention continued throughout our time at the restaurant.

To make matters worse, our table was not properly maintained. The water bottle provided was left without any server constantly checking on us, and our table was not watered as it should have been. The buffet spread, which should have been a highlight, was a major disappointment. The food was consistently cold, and despite our repeated requests, the appetizers were not replenished, and empty buffet dishes were left unattended.

Additionally, the billing process was unnecessarily time-consuming and confusing. Despite providing the details of our coupons, the managers seemed perplexed, which only added to our frustration. Such inefficiency and disorganization are simply unacceptable.

Regrettably, the problems did not end there. Shockingly, several of our guests fell ill with food poisoning the very next day. It is evident that the quality of the food served was compromised, leading to this unfortunate and distressing outcome. This incident not only ruined our dining experience but also had serious health implications for some of our party members.

I must express my deepest disappointment with Urban Cafe at Hayat Regency Chandigarh. In all my years of dining out, I can confidently say that this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever encountered, certainly the worst in the city. The lack of service, cold and neglected buffet, and the serious health repercussions from the food served have left a lasting negative impression.

However, it is worth mentioning that the valet service at Hayat Regency Chandigarh was commendable. The valets were welcoming, efficient, and made us feel at home. From the moment we handed over our car keys to the moment we received our vehicle back, everything was convenient and smooth. I extend my sincere thanks and regards to the valet team for their exceptional service amidst an otherwise disappointing visit.

I strongly urge the management of Urban Cafe to provide an explanation for the abysmal service and the compromised quality of their food. It is essential that they take immediate action to rectify these issues and ensure that such substandard experiences are not repeated in the future. As a customer, I expected much more from a reputed establishment like Hayat Regency.

I sincerely hope that my review helps others in making an informed decision regarding their dining choices, and I encourage the management to take my feedback constructively to improve the overall experience for future patrons.
