Very affordable at prime location. Walkable distance from Railway station and major sightseeing places. You can also rent a scooty right here.
They also have cute and well-trained pets. Highly recommended for solo travellers.

My experience at Valentine Hostel in Pondicherry was nothing short of disappointing. The unclean rooms, unhygienic washrooms, and overall lack of cleanliness made me feel uncomfortable and misled. Despite booking for two days, I immediately decided to leave and find alternative accommodation nearby.

The hostel offered only one 5-bed dorm, which was not only cramped but also emitted an unpleasant odor. The entire place seemed neglected and unkempt, with dirty floors and a general lack of cleanliness. The washroom facilities were unhygienic and fell far below acceptable standards. Additionally, the presence of two dogs that constantly scratched guests, along with the untidy birdcage, added to the unsatisfactory experience. Contrary to the advertised pictures, there were no proper workspace or kitchen facilities, and the lack of chill areas further diminished any potential for relaxation. The slow Wi-Fi speed only added to the frustration.

Me and my friends stayed here for 2 nights, rooms are cozy. All the mentioned facilities are available, it's situated in great location, very near to railway station and also to many tourist places, you can also rent bikes here.
The host is very friendly, he even let us keep luggage for extra few hours, the price is decent, we even modified our check in check out time to our needs, Washroom looks dirty, may be because it became old , but it's neatly cleaned and there is no smell, Beds are good with clean sheets.
The only con i found was there are too many mosquito , we had to buy repellent from outside, if they could do something about this , it would be great, there are two dogs both friendly, especially Arjun , she was so friendly, you can definitely come here if u are coming with friends, not recommended for family as sometimes People smoke here
