We took two classes at the sita cultural centre and they arranged a mehndi artist for me too.
We took the cooking class and kolam class both were amazing. Manisha took the cooking class and it was fantastic, the market trip was great, we made a dal fry, veggie dish, chicken dish and pudding. Her teaching was great and she is just a lovely person to spend time with. The food was delicious and I look forward to recreating it back home.
The wonderful Lakshmi took our Kolam class and it was so interesting learning about this traditions history and so much fun having a go.
I cannot recommend the Sita Cultural centre more highly, the staff are all so lovely and friendly, I wish we had been there for longer! Also the mehndi artist did such a phenomenal job on my feet, I've recieved so many compliments.
Thank you to all the staff, we hope to come back again one day!

We did the Pondicherry bike tour offered by Sita Cultural Centre. The experience was amazing. Manisha took us through the four quarters of Pondicherry explaining the history and significance of each. We stopped by the Sacred Heart Basilica and the vegetable and flower market and saw the chettinad-style and French-style houses on the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the stories and the company of Manisha. She was sensitive and caring toward all the participants.
