Where to start? Let's see, I am from the United States I've traveled to many places around the world. I was invited to Auroville and Puducherry by a close friend Shivam. I traveled from Rohtak with my wife for my Birthday and one year Anniversary. After few days of looking at locations near Auroville and being dissatisfied. My friend connected me with Mr. Suresh, first for reliable transportation then he showed me his homestay.
The place is clean, respectable, and quiet. It has a purified water source so no need to buy bottled water. The outside area is beautiful it has a bon fire pit, garden area, and outside kitchen with fridge, also a washing machine.
It is far enough from the main road that you have peace and quiet but near enough that Auroville and shops/restaurants on Auroville Rd are only minutes away by scooty, bike, or car.
The homestay has some good spots to click photos with your friends/partner/family at night and day.

Best place to be around auroville.
Such a freindly owner and cooperating.
Located all around the forest.
Everything is nearby like petrol pump, bar, restaurant,shops etc.
Must visit place.
So glad that I spent my quality time here
