Small and quite cafe in the prime location of Pondicherry. Food and service is ok. Their crossoist are good. I like their marble cakes as well. Desert are good especially rumballs. As it is an old cafe and people of Pondicherry have a relation with the cafe but yes quality and service can be improved always.

As a regular at this spot I can guarantee that every cuisine is equally good. The Cordon de Bleu is my personal favorite. The pricing is good and the quality is trustworthy.

Review is based on only grilled veg sandwich and Spanish omelette ordered but that should say a lot about the overall food preparation philosophy of the establishment.
The sandwich was practically dry as no butter was used for grilling, the filling inside was just tossed in with excessive amounts of onion with little else.
The Spanish Omelette came with a single slice of bread toasted and there was no butter even to order separately. So chomp on dry toasted bread! The omelette had potatoes which were not done well and were uncooked since they were chopped into large cubes instead of slices.
Got a feeling that there is no chef cooking the meals but someone with some cooking experience as an assistant here and there..
To be fair, we were not expecting fine dine experience, just simple food well prepared.
They can certainly do a lot better.
