Puri dist. is not only famous for Lord Jagannath temple but also for several Temples/Pithas those are located inside and outside of Puri. There is a Shakti Pitha, outside of Puri town, dedicated to Goddess Kali. This temple is located in Biragobindapur village so it is known as ‘Biragobindapur Dakshina Kali Temple’. The temple is not so important for it’s architecture but from the religious viewpoint, it is one of the important shrines of Puri.

Near to Sakhigopal situated in Birgobindapur Village. Couldn't think that a village will have such temple.
This temple is very big and sacred to the people of Satyabadi.

Its in a remote area near puri highway but its powerful and divine in its feel, alot of ducks near the temple and a beautiful pond as well.
Temple premises has an akhand deep too.
I loved my visit to this old but powerful place in odisha tour.
