It's a very famous place which is about the old tale about the God Kabir and the sea . In short the tale is like this - Many years ago when the jagannath temple was getting build the sea would not let the temple to get build . It happened 6 times then God Kabir came and put his khadau ( A stick which was used to meditate many years ago which was used by sages ) and with the power of that the sea waves wasn't able to go towards the temple and in the 7th time the temple got built .

This place is the foundation place of the Jagannath temple. Saint Kabir saheb ji dug his stick on the ground and said the king that from now onwards your temple will not be harmed by the sea.

nice place kabir chaura math in puri. this is near in golden beach market. you can enjoy beach and explore this plce. too good this place.
