Ratha jatra or Ghosa jatra is the biggest and the holiest cart festival marking the visit of shree Jagganath shree Balabhadra and maa subhadra to their aunt's house or mausi maa temple and to have delicious poda pitha or pan cake. The divine experience can't be explained but can be enjoyed through soul by participating in this Ratha jatra. After two year's of corona peroid , finally we devotees had that divine grace to witness this divine jatra of Mahaprabhu.
There are bus and trains available to reach there. Parking facilities of two wheelers and car's were at Jagganath ballabh matha and bus were parked at Malatipatpur bus stand. On reaching , there was grand welcome to devotees. Many NGO's were distributing free foods like biscuits , water bottles and offering Rice and dalma to devotees day and night. There were water tanks provided by local administration for drinking. Water cannons were provided to sprinkle water to hydrate devotees. Fire services and ambulance facilities were also provided in emergencies.
This Ghosa jatra is the auspicious day where the Lord himself come to visit their devotees. Jay Jagannath
