The restaurant is managed by people having absolutely zero sense of hospitality. They do not know how to treat their customers well. Most of the dishes written in the menu are not available or would just be available if you order 3 plates of the same item. Most importantly the most negative thing about the manager of this restaurant was to give RUDE IMPOLITE opinion to us in between our own family discussion. The people coming to the table and taking orders are impolite, rude and move with an air of extra attitude around them. Really do not know for what.
Now coming to the food. Food is average. We had ordered Fried Rice (which was okay however no cutlery provided to eat the same), Bengali Thali(ok, basic) and Egg Curry (horrible-felt like having some extra sweet curry).
A small note to the restaurant manager:
Among all the restaurants in the same lane you have your restaurant located in, please keep staffs who can atleast behave properly with your customers because your food is not that great for which you should take so much pride.

Though the place is not anywhere close to its glory days of 2009, I happened to visit the place in 2022 again with my family and it seemed to be working overall fine. The staff are well behaved , service is surely fast and the menu options are plenty. Bengali cuisines are still their specialisation and the price is reasonable. Lunches, dinners and breakfasts are available thought the lunch menus are the strengths.

Nice rooms with a balcony as well. We got a good deal during our stay, obviously not during the peak season. The food was good also, and the sea shore was 5 minutes stroll from the hotel. I felt an air-conditioned room lesser than 5 minutes of walk from sea shore was a good bargain from having it on the marine drive. The staff were very courteous and they do help to keep the rooms clean throughout the day, I really appreciate the way they were approachable.
