Mahanadi is the longest river of Odisha. It started from Chhattisgarh state and flows through Odisha and meet Bay of Bengal. On the bank of her there is famous Barabati fort. It was established in the year 1210 AD by Anangabhima Dev of Eastern Ganga dynasty.
