When I am travelling, I write down in brief all points about a particular hotel which I will later share on TA - if you see some of my reviews, I even give the names of the staff members who were good and bad!
There are lots and lots of reviews here about hotels which simply say - ' we booked here last minute over the new year holidays and this hotel suited our purpose for the price we paid', and we will return next time'
Now the above 200 character review says nothing about location of hotel, staff, rooms, wifi, breakfast, transport options near the hotel etc.
If you see the 'top contributors' they all have more than 50 reviews, and 75% of these reviews are barely 3 or 4 lines.
Not enough at all.. Like exterior corridors says - what's the point then of posting your review?
