Well maintained museum. It attracts a lot of tourists because a lot of history and its sources and are preserved over there. The entry fee for an adult is Rs 20 but I must say the value you gain is more than what you pay. The school and college going kids must visit this place to know a huge information about our culture and its diversity. There are two libraries one with the books relating to all subjects and another one is library containing manuscripts. The interior is very neat and clean. There are proper washroom and drinking water availability. There is wheelchair access also which is a good step allowing all kinds of people to access the museum.

One of my favourite museum which i have visited. Well maintained and systematic historical knowledge have been given. Every room is different and great collection who loves to know our prosperous history and culture.... I think if anyone wants to know history, culture, tradition and arts of Odisha then must visit place....

It's a great place to visit for those who love to see historical things. Well they have a good collection but they are not well maintained, like the birds stored in the natural history section or the furred animals have not been maintained properly and have dried up way to much and they are hardly recognizable. Otherwise they are good. One can definitely cover the whole Museum in half day. Totally recommend to visit this place to those who are living in or near Bhubaneshwar.
