The place is easily accessible by cab/auto. These two twin hills are famous for their rock cut caves that were built for jain monks for resting.Very important and ancient cave architecture of India. Feels to to visit such important iconographies of Indian architecture. Udayagiri has 18 caves and Khandagiri has 15 caves. It is one of the rarest and interesting monument of India. Udaygiri also has a Jain temple atop the hill and lot of pilgrims visit it on a daily basis.
