What do HP Service centers do is only replace the items, The things which can easily be repaired or fixed are not fixed rather they are replaced and yes the fun part is you get the so called Orginal HP Products at fixed price whereas you can get the same in local shops for almost half the price , My laptop fan had issues, my motherboard had a minor repairing requirement and lastly my keyboard had an issue and they concluded all of those with a cost of more than 20k and I got all those fixed at just 3k, The people are a joke ???? they didn't even check my laptop internally and concluded my keyboard and fan needed to be changed but the local shop said there were board issues which can be repaired easily. The Service Center i visited is of Saheed Nagar, and I had my entry done there. And Yes you didn't care to even open my laptop so stop scamming people

Visited this place for laptop service. I had purchased a laptop in 2018 for official work of my company. The executive used it. After my company closed in 2020 due to covid,I took the laptop from the executive. I used it 3-4 times and once while on charge, it went dead. I found the charger was dead too. Used another one but didn't get on. I didn't use it much and warrenty was over too. I removed the HDD,did casing and recovered data. Then I thought of repairing, took it to thus service center. The lady at the counter is very pleasant, received my laptop, have me receipt. She told me there might be a motherboard problem which I also suspected . Tteyvxalled me after some days and informed me that motherboard needs replacement. The cost is Rs 8900 and 1 month working guarantee. I was skeptical waited few days then decided to do it as this model would cost me 22k tge same price I bought it. They took a week,called me to collect the laptop. My health was not good so I went after a other week. The service engineer already met me when I went there and told them to replace the board. While desktop motherboards give 3years warranty, HP should give at least 1 year on new motherboard that is replaced. Anyway the lady again greeted me with smile,brought my laptop, put it on charge ,made it on and told me to wait for sometime to check the charging. Then handed me the laptop. Luckily 5th me,the battery took charge otherwise another 4k bill. Overall satisfied. This place is located in another building opposite to Inox. This place is not sometimes visible to road because of trees in front of the building. This the backside of Odisha Hotel. The best way is there is a temple near to bhawani mall boundary,opposite to that small temple is this place,1st floor. Let's hope my laptop runs well.
P:S- Came to know about one thing recently when I went to change my BIOS battery. The Laptop was running slow. The person told me that you have intel celeron processor,1.1 Ghz. But I told him that I had AMD dual core 1.5 Ghz as far as I know. Then he said-Did you have motherboard replaced? I said-Yes. He said- Now since processors are inbuilt, they changed the motherboard,so processor was changed too. This information was new to me as it was not shared by the service center. I thought the processor will be removed and pasted on the new motherboard like as we do in PC, the motherboard change when processor is okay. Same processor fixed on new motherboard.I would have chosen i3 processor or AMD dual core by paying more 1-2k and if they did not have that processor with motherboard, I would have done it somewhere. I paid the money but now my computer which had windows 10 installed(designed for windows 10 or higher,windows 7 does not work well) is running slow. I was not informed about the processor will also change with motherboard otherwise I would have taken decision whether to go with this celeron board or i3 board. Now I am stuck with this and I had to put an SSD, 8 GB Ram more to speed up the laptop which cost me 4k more but the laptop is still running slow. Had it been the AMD dual core or i3 processor, it would have been fast but that information was not given to me. They just said-You need to change the board which I agreed. If you are changing your motherboard,make sure to clarify this thing or will be stuck like me.Reducing one star for this.
