Experience in AMRI, Orissa.: Went there for a medical checkup. Their Urologist Dr. Manas Ranjan Pradhan gave us some medical tests to do and after seeing the reports, rightfully he told us not to worry. At the end of the diagnosis we got a 5000 rupees worth of medicines for 1 month. 24 to 36 hrs later the patient showed severe symptoms of Hyperthyroidism or "symptoms of treatment of Hyperthyroidism" ("Tremors and shaking in hand" , Before or after that incident it has Never happened again..). Further consultation with the doctor went like this, (at the time we were traveling back to our home)
1. Do not take any of those prescribed medications anymore, 5000 rupees freaking WASTED!! (IT WAS STRICTLY MENTIONED IN AMRI, BHUBANESWAR; NO REFUND ON MEDICINES..!!!)
2. Travel 300 + miles again to Visit Doctor's office; again put only 2000 rupees or so registration fee for the 3rd time ; to know what is actually wrong with the patient this time. Meanwhile consult with local doctor when you reach home!! No sweat??!

Ever wonder what is wrong with India? This sort of lack of clarity between doctor and patient,
uncertainty in treatment of patients and ruthless + total marketing strategy held by Medical institutions , makes life difficult if not chaotic for common public. Anyway we have consulted with different doctors since then, no such stressful incident has ever happened to the patient like that.

** Also after some months we found that, the severe reaction which was caused by those prescribed medication/s (by Dr M.R.P) has/have helped us identify Patient's hypertension related issues.
This was the only good thing, since we were able to identify bp related problems, treating for which patient is perfectly okay now. We are just thankful that we could make the best of the situations and found some good options/place for treatments.
Overall experience was Not Satisfactory in AMRI urology dept.

I became his patient after getting recommended by many other doctors whom I consulted with, as I needed an immediate kidney removal surgery. After consulting with Doctor Manas, I knew I was in the best hand. He handled my case sincerely and made my cut and stitches look as aesthetically natural as possible by keeping in mind that i was a young girl with a future ahead. He's a doctor with finest hand and coolest mind. Enthusiastic, friendly and best in his field of work.

One of the best doctor in urology dept. I have experienced a human of Finest behaviour and 100% professionalism during my mother's PCNL surgery at AMRI hospital. May God always stands before his profession and family.
