Marvelous structure. The artwork is fantastic. This structure is full of history. The Sun Temple is located in an eponymous village about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of Puri and 65 kilometres (40 mi) southeast of Bhuvaneswar on the Bay of Bengal coastline in the Indian state of Odisha. This temple is known as Black Pagoda. This is made of three types of stone chloride , laterite and khondalite.

It was an awesome experience to be there. It's always feels good when you visit any historical place.

Great Place, historical sight even. But do not go in Summer days. If you're North Indian, i request you to not go. Being a Costal area, it's always Humid and you will sweat all day, even after 10 seconds of taking a Bath. That place has no water Filters. Even after taking Rs.40 per person ticket, they can't Install water coolers? All you'll get is 1 water cooler, it had Hot water, and it was very crowdy. Had to wait 20 minutes for water. And Under scorching sun and sweaty body, i couldn't even enjoy the trip. Saw that temple for 20 minutes, but ran back to Car because it was unbearable
Nothing exciting to see, because temple is locked, as it's broken from inside. You'll just see outer designs, even those designs are destroyed. So i won't recommend.but even if you wanna go, please choose winter months
