Hello Management,
The process of issuing blood is not smooth and often taking more than 3-4 hours. Even if there is emergency requirement as told by nurse / doctors from ICU, the representative at the counter failed to understand the situation. They simply try to avoid by saying “One machine is not working”. I’ll suggest the nurse / doctor from ICU give a call to the blood bank about the urgency, because the person at the bank never rely on the public. Or the nurse and the doctor can expedite the requirement of blood by giving a filled form as advised by the person at the blood bank counter. All of these hassle ultimately affect the treatment of the admitted patient, particularly for an anemic patient under dialysis. Please look into this matter and help to save patient.
