Very well neglected except the main entrance gate.Entry gate is new (I guess ) and inside most of the items ,wheather gym equipments, children play items everything is broken or not in working condition. Irony is that it is situated infront of BALANGIR MUNICIPALITY OFFICE.

If you compare this park with other two main parks of balangir i .e. Children parks and joggers park , it stands no where. Although it is not fair to compare them as the area of Rajendra park is way to larger than the two combined.

Corruption and Negligence at it's peak.

It's a good park of Balangir. Many people go there because thay have no other option. However one more park is there named children park.
People go to this park and it's available in the centre of Balangir.

Jogging park. Small entry fees. Maintenance is good. Good play area for kids. There is an unofficial space for parking. Street food is good outside the park.
