If you wish to try traditional Naga food you can try here. The stairs going to the dining are are very narrow but the dining area is spacious. Somehow I didn't liked the taste of the food as didn't enjoyed the as smell of Akhone in smoked pork curry. Maybe depends on taste buds of person to person. It's not an expensive restaurant neither it's a cheap restaurants, you can visit here if you want to try Naga food.

This review provides an honest assessment the first and last visit of morung kitchen on 7th June 2023 ,kohima. the menu place on the table with item list was just no use, a useless menu, where only limited countable items were available. And Unfortunately, the pork with axone thali dish that cost 250 per plate was a terrible
and totally disappointment, with only three small pieces of meat that were overwatered, all those 3 tiny pieces meat were just overfloating, the rice and chutney was okay, but the dal was cold and spoiled already, on top of all these disappointment the service was very slow with only one server present. The chef and food quality received a rating of 0 stars and were deemed the worst ever visited.
The concerned owner really need to look into before any other face the same, the name morung makes one hope and expectation high however with all these experiences time to ponder and improve from bottom to top.
My apology on harsh comment but on behalf of my friends and officers I'm putting this comment up. Thank you for reading.

Not gonna lie I’ve had the worst experience having dinner at any restaurant so far.
The amount of meat you plate gosh!
AXONE smoke pork surprised me.. very disappointed.
Chicken two piece super small piece doesn’t even come close for a 200+ worth dish man come on.
And anishi don’t even wanna go there..
3-4 pieces.
Barely had pokora size of meat that too 4 piece and small small chunks..
You’ve beat even the record of plating the least size and quantity of meat than Bamboo shoot at Razhu point.
After that experience never will I ever visit Morung Kitchen for a dinner ever again.
So not worth the money for a dinner.
I would not recommend anyone to have any Naga dish at Morung Kitchen.
Very very Disappointing.
