Privately Own by our Chief minister Rio who is a politician and a business tycoon. In earlier years only stones were crafted but these days the factory is expanded even to make carry bags which are biodegradable. It's a very good initiative by our Honorable Chief Minister to bring such a technology to our state which we just have one.
I'm sure of the expensive cost of those machines for making the bags. Hoping that in the future we have more entrepreneurs to come up with more sustainable production of goods which are reusable or biodegradable in nature. I am totally against the use of plastics and I honestly support people who all have rational thinking.
It is also said to learn that the local indigenous people are yet to learn how to operate the machine so the employees are all non locals and only a handful of local people who are helpers and they are women.
It is situated right across Tetso Pelo boys hostel which is under Sovima Village Chumukedima District.
My only wish is that someday sooner we the local indigenous learn to operate such type of sophisticated technology for our better Nagaland.

Stonecraft is a small stone tiles factory. It has big machines for moving and also for cutting big stone and other machine as well for other purposes. This place provides with polished stone tiles for floors in many few other designs. Stones like graphite, granite, white stone etc., are imported from places like Rajasthan, Bihar and Punjab.
Thus, this place is reasonably good.
