This trip has definitely been one of the most beautiful so far. I had gone along with my wife on this amazing and beautiful journey. Our guide cum driver was Mr. Pradeep Modak. During the entire journey he made sure that we were comfortable all the time and took utmost care about our safety. He has vast historical and geographical knowledge of Meghalaya and shared with us historical stories of various different places that we visited during our journey. The route we had taken was mostly off beat which was not crowded and mostly unexplored by the tourists. We dined at local restaurants that served home cooked delicious and sumptuous local food. Mr. Pradeep Modak took care of us like a family member and during the entire journey he sometimes used to show his culinary skills and cook food for us. The destinations where he took us and the places which he showed were mostly less crowded and offbeat. We were mostly offroading to various different places enjoying the scenic beauty of various different places. We had gone to Shillong, Mawlyngbna, Mawphanlur, Kongthong, Cherrapunjee, Double Decker bridge/Rainbow falls trek, Mawlynnong, Dawki, Jaintia hills and many more places.
I would highly and strongly recommend to embark on this journey with Mr. Pradeep Modak or through him if you really want to experience Meghalaya along with its history, traditions and culture. We were literally given vip treatment in most of the places because of his amazing reputation and his goodwill in the entire region. After the journey ended us he bid us goodbye with watery eyes but i am sure we will meet again for the next trip to the beautiful paradise "MEGHALAYA". Thank you for the care and love during the entire journey Mr. Pradeep Da. You are definitely the BEST in the entire Meghalaya.
