This temple is one of the best and most important Hindu temples in Shillong. I highly recommend visiting it, especially during the Mahashivratri festival. The temple is located away from the city and offers a peaceful and beautiful environment. I also recommend visiting it early in the morning and climbing up the hill behind it. Once you go down the hill, you will see a small clear river with big stones that you can hop on or just sit and dip your legs in the cold water. The river also has many fish that you will see the locals catching. However, I suggest visiting with your friends and family as the place is very isolated and may not be safe if only one or two people are visiting. But there is nothing to worry about as there are always army personnel nearby the area. You will also see marriages taking place almost every day. This place also has a rumor that it has a cave that connects it to Kamakhya Mandir in Guwahati. This is a must-visit place if you have not visited before or if you are in the city looking for a hidden gem.

One of the good places to worship and people who want to get married they can get married here, but if one want to approach a priest one needs to get everything clear with it in detail.
