I am giving it 1 star, because there is no zero rating. Driven by a desperate last minute quest to find a place that allows pet and provides home cooked food, I booked this place. I conveyed my requirements to the owner before booking and his response was most positive. But when I landed late evening, horror unfolded. The rooms are shoddy, full of cobwebs and mosquitoes, the walls, curtains, beds are shabby and stinking, the tiny washbasin leaks into the bathroom. Construction is so poor that you will hear every tiny movement from the adjacent room and we could not sleep a wink the night. In the name of room service, you are on your own or left at the mercy of only one unresponsive person. In the name of meal, they will bring some unhygienic, obnoxious food in plastic carry-bags from outside and hand over to you without a spoon or ladle. Located right beside a road, the sounds from passing vehicles will forever be your companion. When I requested the owner for a discount (the room is not cheap!!) for all the troubles we were subjected to, he not only flatly refused, he blamed it on us and his only employee! This place is a trap and one should avoid it for life. Sleep in the car instead of booking this place.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Honix Residency. The room service, the hotel staffs all were very nice. So this place is highly recommended for tourists as well as locals.
