I have loved Jai Shankar Falooda and Pani Poori since forever. It is one of the oldest joint at Siru Chowk. I don't live in Ulhas anymore. But whenever I visit, I surely come here to eat Paani Puri and Falooda.

Jai Shanker ice cream the birth place of falooda. I have been this place with my grand parents. It's been more 25 years the taste is same . But menu has changed the well known ice cream centre has also started serving snacks ..unlike other authentic Sindhi snack resto around they serve south indian snacks . On my last visit I went for falooda and tried some snacks. Ordered Mysore cheese dosa. .a good attempt to make one . Little blend and instead of Mysore they served masala dosa... Yes change is the only constant thing in world but it's always not beneficial to everyone ..if you are around this place do check out jai shanker special falooda ..

To be honest, this was my favorite place to go for faloodas since childhood, but recently they are not up to their quality and I am deeply saddened. I ordered 2 deluxe falooda and I would say it was not at all deluxe. It was like the simple falooda. If this is the delux falooda i wont be visiting again. Masala Dosa was ok but sambhar was bad. Pav bhaji was cold. I hope they understand and make it the same way it was.
