Great place to spend Weekend. To reach here you have Buses, Rick from. THANE stn. As well as u can get bus from Virar, Vasai, Borivali, Mira Road which pass through Godhbunder area. This place is around 7-8kms from Fountain square. Which falls on the route of Golden quadrilateral Road. There are several food stall outside which u can enjoy the local. Food as well as Maggi and many other eatables.
There is a floating restaurant also which requires certain number of people and after the booking you can njoy the ship ride with either breakfast or lunch menu.

Best time to visit this location is around Sept to May all year round.. Specially during the monsoons.. The hilly region around this places gives a whole greenery view and also opens up few streams of waterfalls which can be enjoyed while taking bath in them.

Short trekk also can be organised in this location as there is hilly mountain as well as terrain.. One can also go little further to this location and find comfortable stay options as well as resort options. Overall 2-3days package tour can also be planned with proper food options and exploring the local area.

This place once upon a time was marshy and something that one will never step willingly. Now the place is transformed and is one of the attraction on the Ghodbunder road towards Thane. The small food stalls outside offers a unique street food experience. Good place to spend the evening sunset time.
