Recently visited Cozinha de Goa along with my wife for lunch. This place is located near majiwada opp vijay sales on Ghodbunder road. This place is owned by a Goan family who is so hospitable and kind. The family looks after the entire operations of the outlet.

They were kind enough to explain to us the specialities of the ingredients they have used and the method of preparation for each of the dishes.

The outlet specialises in core Goan cuisine. They have a limited menu covering most of the prominent sea food items.

We ordered for the below dishes -

Starters -
Prawns Fry
Bombil Fry

The masala used for marinating the fish is just amazing. It is definitely going to remind you of Goa in every possible way.The portion size is also good.

Mains -
Surmai Thali
Pompfret Thali
Bombil Thali
Bangda Thali

The Thali is simple yet tasty. The fishes are fried in very less or almost no oil. They serve chappati, rice , gravy , dried fish chutney and sol kadi in the thali. The gravy served was nice and thick.Authentic South Goan flavour and aroma in the gravy.

We were also served additional sol kadi at the end which was the perfect end to our meal.

Had an amazing experience. Highly recommend place to visit. You won’t be able to resist from visiting them again.

The Cozinho De Goa means the kitchen of Goa. They bring to some common delicacies but no one could beat the taste. It just has a outdoor seating. The owners are so friendly who will help y'all in explaining each and every thing from preparation to giving some good knowledge about the food which we might lack despite of having it most of the time. Coming to what I had:
1. Bombil Fry: Fish was so fresh and fried perfectly. The plus point was that they sprinkled very little chaat masala which was an add on flavour to it. It was shallow fried which made it less oilier.
2. Prawns Fry: I loved the portion size of the prawns it was so sufficient. The size of the prawns was also huge enough and fried perfectly. I can have such kind of fish fry anytime.
3. Chicken Xacuti: Dark brown chicken gravy which had a little sweeter taste. The chicken pieces were in sufficient amount and the gravy was so thick. It went well with Chapati.
4. Surmai Thali: It consisted of Surmai fry, prawns curry, dry bombil, chapati, rice and solkadi. Surmai was so fresh and tender. I loved their prawns curry it tasted typically like manglorean prawns curry with proper thickness. You'll actually love the solkadi here. The quantity of rice was so much I mean I never saw any Thali having this much amount of rice. This thali was so fulfilling.
I really enjoyed my meal to my heart's content. Every bite just felt like homemade food that is the reason I loved it even more. You should visit this place and satisfy your seafood cravings.

If your a sea food lover and wanting to have some amazing sea food head over to this place.
The owners here are really sweet and even though they have a small seating it's good.

Had the surmai fry and prawns fry which were really crispy fried and tasty...
The fish served here is fresh and can be made out from the taste itself.

In thalis, we tried the Prawns Thali and Pomfret Thali served with prawns gravy, sukat prawns and solkadi along with solkadi.
The solkadi served here was a bit unique in terms of flavours.
The prawns sukkat was really good and the prawns gravyhad a nice Goan touch to it due the coconut.
