Food:
We had chicken clay pot with green curry. We were going to order 2 but thought of trying one first and turns out one is enough for 2 people. It tasted really good. Then we had Bao (chilli cottage cheese) which was not so good tbh. The Bao was ok but the cottage cheese fillings, not so much. Then we had Mie Goreng chicken noodles, which they suggested upon asking but it was also not good. I wanted to try dimsum but it looked too expensive.

Atmosphere:
It was a hot and sunny day when we went there for lunch and there was no one. The atmosphere there did not help. The seating and ambience in total is not so good. We couldn't sit outside due to heat so we went inside, which is a very congested space, and requested them to turn on the AC. However, that room is directly attached to the kitchen and because the kitchen doors have to be kept open for ventilation, it was very hot. The AC did not help at all.

Service:
Service was good. The waiter was kind and humble. Our bill was around 1200 Rs.

My opinion:
It was an average experience. I'll maybe visit once in a while or maybe not and definitely not during the summer heat.

No one can eat just once. You will keep coming here again and again without fail.
Do Not get fooled by the mediocre look of the entrance of this place nor even have any sort of second thoughts. Yin Yang is by far one of the best Asian restaurants in the city and none of the dishes ordered disappointed us in any manner but rather far exceeded the expectations than even some 5 star hotels.
The quality and taste and the presentation are so well taken care of that you wouldn't believe this is what you expected judging from the exteriors. Even the menu seems so normal. But then once you take a bite, you will know why this is among the best options available for Asian traditional cuisines and Yin Yang aced it. Its gonna be an addiction once you are here.
The ambience is very nice filled with potted plants in a vertical garden and there was good Bollywood music being played here. Haven't heard some of the tracks since years and it definitely adds to the mood.

YIN YANG- is a Chinese Philosophical concept that illustrates opposing or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world- it may mean good and bad, light and dark, positive and negative, man and woman, north and south and a plethora of other things.

The interiors are interspersed with oriental props, umbrellas and art with nice looking furniture. The place sends out very inviting vibes and the fresh aroma of culinary delites waft from the kitchen and tickles your nostrils and sets your gastric juices craving already.

At the outset the place may look small and dingy but they have a treasure chest full of amazing, lip smacking grubs and delicacies. It would be increasingly difficult for any food expert to believe the fact that their kitchen in that much less plinth area can dish out so many oriental dishes, unless the chef has some kind of magic wand. You name it they have it!

Strikingly delicious was the Teriyaki Bao which reminded me of so many flavours sweet, savoury, yeasty, crunchy, soft. This dish is truly a masterpiece. I strongly recommend that you try it folks!

Crabmeat soup- clear soup with sweetcorn and crabmeat, served piping hot- awakens your inner being.

In drinks tried the V.mojito and blue lagoon, very old established drinks that has been time tested and tried- there is tremendous potential in this place for a nationwide concept expansion and Franchise- one day it will happen:- mark my words!

Uramaki- californian style salmon, tuna and crab uramaki rolls in sesame. Plated well, adorable, feast for the eyes and tummy.

In mains, went a little adventurous by ordering Vietnamese style fish. It is very exquisitely plated, white indian pomfret in a white gravy garnished and infused with lemongrass, garlic and dried chilli peppers.
It is a visually spectacular salver that you don't wanna miss here. Combine it with a pot of Vietnamese fried rice and you have a delish combo on your palate.

Ever tried sweet dimsums? Well it exists and they serve it as a dessert special. Sweet, soft steamed dumplings filled with honey and grated copra(dried coconut). Must try!

No wonder in life good things come in petite packages and this place is a living proof of that!

Special thanx to Mr Chaitanya, the owner, who was kind hearted to invite me for a tasting session, Chefs Govind Pali and Mitra, and also Rohit the steward.
