Overall, my experience at Upsouth in Viman Nagar was good. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and was quite crowded, indicating its popularity. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient and satisfactory.

The Pav Bhaji dish was a standout for me. It had a delicious taste, and both the quantity and quality of the dish were commendable. It left a lasting impression and was quite satisfying.

The Set Dosa was also enjoyable, although you mentioned that it felt a bit undercooked. However, the taste was still good, and it didn't significantly affect your overall experience.

The Uttapam combo was another highlight of your meal. It was delicious and left you feeling satisfied. The combination of onion, tomato, and uttapam worked well together, and you found it to be tasty and enjoyable.

On the other hand, the Podi Idali fell short of your expectations. The masala on the idli seemed to detract from its overall taste, making it less enjoyable. It was disappointing compared to the other dishes you tried.

Despite the slight disappointment with the Podi Idali, the positive aspects of your experience at Upsouth, such as the tasty Pav Bhaji, enjoyable Set Dosa, and satisfying Uttapam combo, outweighed this drawback. The restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good, even though you had to wait for your order due to the crowd.

In conclusion, Upsouth in Viman Nagar offers a generally good dining experience with delicious dishes and efficient service. While there were a few minor issues, overall, it is a restaurant worth considering for a satisfying meal.

Services- Okay. Tables were mostly unclean.
Ambience- Not bad.
Hygiene- Utnesils were clean and even the food seemed to be of good quality.
Food- We ordered
Veg Pulao- Loved it! Will definitely try again.
Podi Idli- Oily and bitter. Not worth trying. Although hopelessely soft idlis. Good job on that
Bisi Bele Bath- Not bad. Could have been better.
Filter Coffee- Good
Watermelon Juice- Pulpy and fresh. But expensive! Very!

The quantity of food it pretty less. One dish can't fill one stomach completely.

Overall an okay experience. Wouldn't have the heart of trying the place again. Given it's closer to office, I'll come again for Veg Pulao :)

The last time I went to Upsouth it was much bigger with a different menu, so I was a little unsure. After eating here today, I must say I prefer this version. Really nice and interesting menu combos. I ordered the Mysore Masala dosa, a cold coffee and a filter coffee for my dad. They recognized my dad and knew he drank a stronger coffee. The dosa and chutneys were delicious! I was very pleasantly surprised, not humongous like many restaurants where you can barely finish it. Definitely quality over quantity. The place is cute and service quick, with personal touches like they stopped the music and it was too loud and I also mentioned their buzzer was extremely loud and the cashier happily took that feedback. I will be going again :)
