Located inside the premises of Tata Management Training Center Campus off Mangaldas road, the Tata Central Archives is a gem for any museum enthusiast.
The archives here trace the history of the Tata's with the help of infographics, rare letters and other antique artifacts. It largely highlights the contribution of Tata's in the development of education, industries and other sectors in our country since the time of its inception. Being there in the moment, it was quite enriching to witness their legacy.
On the first floor, a large room houses an actual replica of Tata office in Mumbai which is an iconic place in its own right.
While leaving the archive, I even got an envelope from their side which included an informative leaflet, postcards and a newsletter. It made for a perfect souvenir.
I'd definitely recommend visiting this place since the story of this remarkable family is something worth knowing. The time here would be well spent for sure.
