Sarasbaug Ganesh temple is one of the oldest temples of Pune. It is one of the best places in the city if you are looking for some quite and peaceful outing. Ganesh temple is considered to be a very holy place and people widely come to offer their prayers. It is also surrounded by lush green stretch and a pond encircling the entire temple. The pond is full of different types of fishes and tortoises which excited the kids and adults to watch. The garden area is also well maintained with seating areas. One can also hear a lot of birds chirping here. People are often seen here hanging out with friends and families. It is a holy and serene place at the same time with lots of flora and fauna around.

Located in a very serene place whilst all the madness around this city. Very peaceful & vibrant temple. There is no rush or que for darshan at this place. One can spend some spiritual time here. Visiting the Sarasbaug park as well is quiet a bliss. You'll get a complete Peshwa vibe from the temple as it is kept as it was built.
