To be very honest, compared to the other sambar visits I've had in the other areas in Pune, this one was pretty underwhelming. Ambience wise, there's nothing so great, couple of chairs for outdoor seating and indoors seemed pretty cramped up. The food quality was sub par I must say, mysore bun was pretty bland and even the South Indian meal was nothing special. Sambar is known for their authentic filter coffee and as a verified South Indian myself, I can assure you there was absolutely nothing authentic about this coffee. It really felt like the digoction they used was probably atleast 3-4 days old because neither the aroma nor the taste was acceptable. For their usual standards, I must say this was not at all impressive. Do think twice before visiting this particular branch.

As usual the taste of the store remains constant across Pune.

Had an unique experience with the Sambar Combo special and Filter Coffee. Recommended always for the South Indian dishes in Pune with variety and unique taste that makes it apart from the other brands.

We tried their mouth watering Kesari bath/ sheera, Crisp n light masala dosa & super soft Dahi wada.
