one of the worst hospital. So overpriced and so many hidden charges. They charged me around 53000 for minor operation. For cashless claim they asked me to deposit 50000rs. For pre-operation I already did ECG, chest X-ray, HIV, Hemoglobin etc. But just 10 mins before taking me to operation theater they asked me to give sample for creatinine, Urea etc. and charged me 2990 rs. There pharmacy is overpriced. I was taking the same medicines for 5 days before admitting there which costed about
450. For the same dose they charged around 5000 rs.
They are even charging ID belt for 50 Rs which ideally should be given free of cost.
They charged 120 Rs for Glucometer which was never used. My operation was competed in just 20 mins. They might have used Sevoflurane for 1000 rs but as OT gas charge Nitrous oxide and oxygen charged are levied for 340 rs.
They have also created different bills one for insurance company and one for us as nursing charges are different in both bills.

Discharge- We requested them to start the discharge process early. Even my doctor called them around 8 am but they waited to send the file from 2nd floor to 1st floor till 11 am so the claim process naturally will require 2 hrs to process. so they charged us 3250 rs for whole day.

Interestingly, the same operation was done here in 2016 costed less than 16000 rs.

They give low initial estimate for planned surgeries and then add untold charges to final bill to inflate it. If you have insurance, best of luck trying to get relevant documents from the MRO Department.
Food is included in the room charges but then beware, roadside venders sell better quality food.
Ps: the in house pharmacy is completely high priced and scam. They charge more then market rates.The medicine ordering system is managed by nursing staff so you so you don't know what you are buying until you are the pharmacy window. By the time you reach there, the bill is already prepared. No option to bring outside medicine/ equipment.

This is one of the hopeless hospitals ever i have visited in my life. Especially talking about Dr Pushkar Waknis, as I had been for dental appt, very rude and insensitive towards patients. And yes also charging high fee which actually has no relation to what kind of treatment he is giving. While talking about my treatment and the problem i was going through, the doctor was totally egoistic and showed no respect to my parents either, and is only bothered about the money that he will be charging for the treatment. Overall dont risk ur life by visiting that hospital. They charged 1300 for a mere 10-15 min talk with no in depth explanation of the cause of the problem. Do not visit this hospital as its hopeless n poor infrastructure too.
