Big campus... Perhaps a bit too crowded due to too many student intake in every steam. But the teachers are good & facilities are top notch (except a few which need overhaul).

Advice to new comers / freshers... Ignore the parties (and those promoting them), don't buy the passes and avoid getting introduced to alcohol/party culture at this time of your life. Your family has paid for this. Concentrate on studies, build up your skills, extracurricular activities and social interactions with other students and members of faculty. Be a leader, not a follower.

Review of MIT-WPU Mechanical Engineering (Direct Second-Year Admission) from 2012 to 2015

I had the privilege of pursuing my Mechanical Engineering degree at MIT-WPU, Pune, through direct second-year admission from 2012 to 2015. Overall, my experience at the institute was quite positive, and I would like to highlight various aspects that stood out during my time there.

Faculty: The faculty members at MIT-WPU were highly knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields. They were approachable, supportive, and always willing to help students. The teaching methods employed were effective, and the faculty encouraged interactive learning. Their expertise and guidance played a significant role in shaping my understanding of mechanical engineering concepts.

Library: The institute had a well-equipped library that catered to the academic needs of students. It housed a vast collection of books, reference materials, research papers, and journals related to mechanical engineering. The library staff was helpful in assisting students in finding the resources they needed. It was a great resource for self-study and research.

Grounds: The campus of MIT-WPU boasted well-maintained grounds that provided a serene environment for students. The lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere created an ideal setting for studying and relaxing. The open spaces were also utilized for various extracurricular activities, including sports and cultural events.

Volleyball Ground: One notable feature of the campus was the dedicated volleyball ground. My college experience at MIT-WPU has been truly exceptional. The campus is a vibrant hub of intellectual growth and cultural diversity.
