As the name suggests, this ground is ideal! Ideal for sports like Football, Cricket etc. The running track around the ground is really good. The track is really good and covered with greenery. You can find people from all age group at this ground.

Best park for all the age person. They have fitness clud too which is paid and exercise daily irrespective of age and gender. Ground is quiet big to play football, cricket and in one corner they have cross-fit too which also paid. One full round is approx 500 mtrs. If you have problme with dust then this place is not for you because kids play football you can see dirt in the air quiet often. Overall best for morning and evening walk. Kids have a separate section too for some activities.

I recently visited this ground for the Kothrud Cultural Festival 2019. The ground is big enough. The capacity of 3000-5000 people can easily occupied in this ground. This ground has mini football ground, jogging track with red sand, basketball court (ground). This area is used by many children in the evening, & old aged people to chit chat & exercise. Also, all age groups can be found in the morning. The area is feasible as its in Kothrud, near to MIT, near to Karve road & Paud road. This ground can be used for functions. I recently visited for the Mahesh Kale's show. The ground does not have any separate parking space. People have to use parking beside road, which leads to traffic jams sometimes. The ground is covered with border of trees. Hence, it feels very fresh & refreshing in the morning. Visit once. Cheers.
