Revisited after almost 4 years.
The thali size is bigger than before and so are the prices. However considering the below average ambiance the prices are not justified at all. Afternoons are unbearable with just one cooler that doesn't serve the purpose at all. No ceiling fan as well at a place where you pay 600 for a thali. There are other outlets nearby with better ambiance and equally good food.
The food taste and quality is not compromised however we are sea food lovers and so do not appreciate a sweet water fish curry served in a thali that costs 500 rs. Even in a curry bowl that comes along in a sea food thali and that too without prior discussion. Not appreciated at all.
When it comes to service, it's just one man show. Right from billing, to menu selection to serving everything is done by a single person. The time taken to serve each thali is 30 min viz, fine but when you go along with the family you can't serve all 6 thalis separately with a gap of almost 10 to 15 mins. One person was done with his lunch by the time the rest 2 recieved the thalis.
Over all not a very good experience in terms of service and ambiance majorly.
Giving you a rough idea about the cost. We ordered Rawas thali, chicken wade thali, 2 prawns thali, prawns masala which was converted to a mini prawns thali. All this costed about 2600₹.
