This Misal is unlike any other you’ve ever had - it doesn’t Cloud your senses because of extreme spice, but in fact it reveals different tastes the more you enjoy it.

Bedekar Misal, Pune's very special, a well known, Brahmani Misal. Unlike a lot of the regular Misals you would've had elsewhere, this is very very different. They say it's very much tastes homemade, sweet and spicy, which is true to their words. You can actually taste the sweetness from the Misal.

Food : 5/5 - This is a Misal and Bread place unlike other places they serve with Pav. It's debatable whether bread or pav goes well with Misal. But I don't think that should make any difference, infact Misal's like that of Bedekar goes well with Bread and not Pav. The sweetness of this Misal along with some spicy Katt and Bread is a bomb combination. I was actually a little surprised and infact my expectations dropped for a moment initially when I had my first few bites of the Misal, it was sweet, my head wasn't ready to accept the sweetness. But after a while I was able to acquire the true taste and it made all sense.

Service : 5/5 - A typical Puneri restaurant ????. But they've kept it very well organised. When we reached the place we were in the waiting, they took down our names kindly and ensured the queue system. They'll call out your name and a table will be given for you. It's Self service, you first need to go to the counter, you share your order and the receptionist notes down on a large piece of paper. He'll hand you a token and ask us to hand it to the person in the kitchen. They will share the plates with just the Misal and Bread, the Katt will be served at your table. Service is quick, infact they'll already be waiting for you to finish quickly as the queue gets longer. If you wish to make the Misal more spicy on request they will give you a Katt which has the spicy version. Once done you will need to go back to the receptionist to clear the dues.

Ambience : 5/5 - The place is surprisingly small and not very big, but it's enough to accommodate atleast 20-30 people in one go. Place is old but they've maintained it. Kitchens are clean, clean utensils. I guess all of it makes this place more recommended and likable.

Overall : 5/5 - So for those folks who'd like to have the typical spicy Misal's and don't prefer sweetness, this ain't your place, you'll probably visit only once. For all these folks, Katakirr will the place to go. Foodies like me who are flexible, could get acquired to this taste, you'll start to like it.

One of the most oldest and famous missal place in pune.

Those who like spicy missal please don't visit this place.

But those who like missal a combination of medium spicy and little bit sweet and salty, must visit this place.

Instead of paw U'll get bread slices here but the quality of bread slices is very good and too much soft.

Atleast once U've to visit this place,
Try something new
I found this place awesome hope U'll also.

Thanks
