This hospital is made for money looting purpose only ....worst hospital i have ever seen. I have given 1 star to write this review otherwise this hospital doesnt even deserve one star. Some staff members were supportive but overall experience was pathetic.....Mai mangeshkar hospital in warje is the best hospital i have ever experienced.

We were referred to this hospital by a senior doctor from Pimpri hence had to take my wife who was admitted here for a month. I am not writing this review just because I lost my wife after a months stay at this hospital but am also writing to bring our experience to the notice of hospital management/prospective patients.

The good thing about the hospital is that the Ward boys are quite helpful and cooperative. Other experiences are as below :

Consultant Doctors tend to give you a very negative side of the patients health whereas you have gone to the hospital in the hope that you will get some empathy and thereby expect improvement in patients health, which is also not the case. It is supposed to be a multi specialty hospital but the ward staff lack basic knowledge and are most under trained.

After the round of the Consultant doctors, it takes ages for the ward doctors to implement things suggested during the round of the consultant even when certain things need immediate attention. Infact the Jr.Doctors tend to hesitate to make calls to the Consultant Doctors even if a patients relative has informed them about something very important to report.

The Jr. doctors who look after wards both general and special rooms are trainees and under trained to handle emergency situations. Particularly in the night if your patient has got an emergency then the only option you have is to run into the ICU and request the doctor on duty there to attend to your patient. ICU in the night is mostly shut and if the ICU is full, the doctor there on duty also may not come to your help.

Pathology and radiology reports are not shared with patients relatives and in today's age they have a very weird way of noting down parameters on some preprinted sheets by hand. Am not sure how accurate these noting's are but most of the times, Jr. Doctors are busy writing things on these pre printed sheets before they complete their shift, rather than attending to patients.

Sometimes female doctors and nurses are not available on duty making it really awkward for female patients.

From very basic things such as cleanliness to important things such as infection control can be seen missing in the overall working of the hospital. The special rooms have nothing to be called as "special" and need a lot of maintenance. The taps in the bathrooms are leaky and even cob webs in the rooms are not removed for months.

Some staff members are quite cooperative and understanding but some of them are just opposite and are not fit to work at a hospital. Infact, there is no coordination between the ward nursing station and lab/technicians/sonography etc. All want to complete their shift and go home and in the process blame each other. Patient's care and comfort/convenience is of no importance and the experience can be bettered with proper inter department coordination. The hospital must take this very important point into cognizance.

Inspite of informing all staff and doctors that the right hand of my wife was not to be pricked as she had undergone a surgery long ago, one fine day they pricked her right hand. This is not the mistake of the concerned Nurse but the basic system itself is wrong as they didn't care to put a band with comments/things to remember when she was shifted from the ward to ICU. This is a very serious lapse.

The pharmacy in the hospital is exorbitantly priced, particularly for consumables and if you expect to be in the hospital for a longer time, would suggest you take an auto and go to Chinchwad station where there is a Dawa Bazaar to get the same medicines/consumables for a much much lesser price.

I have not come across a hospital which charges you for disposal of bio medical waste which this hospital does. Anyways this is a very negligible point if they can really attend to their basic duties as a hospital. They really need to pull up their sleeves in terms on upgradation of equipment/infrastructure, cleanliness & most importantly training of staff & putting some experienced doctors in charge of wards.

In case of hospital i.e. the person who is at the door of ICU works to disturb the mood of the patient's relatives, behaves very rudely and if the doctor is asked about the medicine, the answer is rude.
Sudha not telling whether she used medicine or not is very poor behavior
