I stay in Khanda Colony. I have tasted all sorts of food from the restaurants nearby Khanda Colony and Panvel. But Hotel Kokan Katta is far best than any of the other restaurants. It's a small decent looking restaurant and yes all cooks are Nepali but they make awesome malwani cuisine. Especially try their bombil and Surmai try which is at only 130rs and 180rs respectively. Malwani chicken handi is for almost 6 people. Quantity and quality is very good. Great job by the owner who is from Ratnagiri.
ONE more secret advice... if you order Chinese ask extra for their Schezwan sauce. I bet you have not tasted that kind of sauce anywhere.

Kokani by name, all staff is from Nepal, doesn't know how to cook kokni dishes, if you wanna eat Nepali cuisine then go here... Fish was so poor in taste...
