Ganesh Mandir is the main temple in Nagav , uran.
It has been renovated in 2008.

New interiors are very nice.
Main murti of lord ganesha remains the same.

Maghi Ganesh utsav is the main of this tem.
Utsav took place for 3 days.
Bhajans and kirtans takes place all day long.

Amazing place. Infact the best Hindu temple in the vicinity. You can sit inside the temple for hours and hours. A must visit place for all coming from other places. They celebrate Ganesh Jayanti in the month of Magh aka Maghi Ganeshotsav. The celebrations go on for 4 days and the entire village is involved in all the programs that happen in the temple. On the first day of the celebrations they have Kirtan at 9.30pm, second day is for Abhishek, Kirtan, Birth of Ganesha, third day is Mahaprasad day, Kirtan and wedding ceremony of Ganesha. And the 4th and final day is PALKHI which begins from the temple at around 4pm, takes a round to the entire village and returns back to the temple by 2.30am - 3.00am. The birth and wedding ceremony functions are amazing to watch which is also very different to watch.
There are many people staying in different parts of India who hail from this village come during these 4 days and seek blessings from Ganesha.

Best religious place in the vicinity. A must go place if you are around. In fact on the 08th, 09th and 10th of February 2019 there are functions been held in the temple. You get an opportunity to experience Ganapati Birth celebrations and even the marriage celebrations. Do join the celebrations.
