Dr. Gautam tawari is an excellent doctor he helped me out a lot while my left knee surgery . There was an issue with my left knee there was gap in the cartilage and the bone was infected . It was a major Operation. And Dr. Gautam did it successfully. And I m glad that I was treated by him . He explains everything in detail and he helped me throughout the whole journey from the beginning to the end of my surgery and recovery period. Thank you so much to have such a great doctor. He very polite even if you call him after his work hours he is still going to attend you on call and will help you there. Thank you so much to Gautam sir for treating me so well

Being a sportsperson an injury is a nightmare for all, i tore my ACL in October 2018 playing football. In need of a good Dr and a counsellor came across Dr Gautam Tawari from Apollo Hospital, Nerul.
The agony of the pain or the disturbia of not being able to resume normalcy in life which is more terrifying is even today hard to express.
Being under the guidanace of Dr Gautam, he counselled and motivated me with his Hours of counselling on the damage and options i had to reclaim my life.
He explained in detail with precision and perfection and gave me confidence to recover from this.
My injury was such my knee had swollen twice the usual size due to severe impact, unsual for an ACL tear.
Dr Gautam took complete control of my recovery adviced my Physio Dr Neeraj on the strict regiment i had to undergo to be ready for operation.
Today i am stronger, healthier and have forgotten if i had gone through this painful journey, i strongly suggest you to approach Dr Gautam Tawari for all sports and orthopedic ailments.
I have started running & playing again.

I had a torn ACL on my left knee, due to a motorbike crash. My left knee was very unstable, swollen and painful.
I had met Dr. Tawari at a time when I couldn’t walk with my knee extended because of the pain and the swelling, he was very thorough in his examination of the knee, he then explained to me the nature of the injury and procedures that will be performed on my knee then he gave me some pre-op exercises which were very effective in alleviating the swelling and helped me regain the range of motion.
So my surgery was conducted in the month of June 2020 at the Apollo Hospital in Belapur, the doctors performed an ACL Reconstruction + Medial Plica Excision + Patellar Chrondroplasty I was able to start walking with the help of a walker the same day and the knee has only improved ever since, currently I am 6 weeks post-surgery, undergoing physiotherapy and I am able to walk without support.
I find Dr. Tawari’s approach very calculated and clear on the results that he wants to see in his patients, I found him very attentive to my concerns and questions everytime I met him. Overall, it was a great experience, very supportive team of doctors and staff also procedure itself was relatively painless as its done arthroscopically. I’m sure that you’ll feel that you are in good hands, I would highly suggest Dr. Tawari for anyone who has had Sports Injuries like mine.
